¬RaFTiNg!¬
One of the best things we did was go rafting down the Dalaman river. We were a 'bit angry' that it took us an hour and a half to get there. and that was only to the rafting hut. then it was another hour and a half to get to the top of the river.
feeling chuffed at looking the part. only again a 'bit perturbed' that we had to fork out 25 euros ($40) for special rafting shoes cause they didn't like our thongs.
we made friends with this girl sarah and her mum, english gals that we had fun with
our team was dubbed 'my super sexy angels and the iron man' (we had one random Israeli guy on our boat!) by our enthusiastic and very-friendly rafting guide. alicia on the far left at the front and me at the other-side-of-the front leading our gang to watery depths.
just before we staked it and we ended up under the raft!
we think the head second from the left bobbing around in the water could be mine...
it was tiring and i ended up with two blisters, a cut finger, a bruised thumb and an oar that totally snapped in half, but it was awesome!
'the bridge'... that i recognised as familiar as we free-floated under it on our backs towards the end. i thought perhaps our bus had taken us over it earlier in the day, but was scornfully informed that it would probably all crumble if we even stepped on it.

best-friends-thrown-together-through-a-series-of-near-death-experiences. was quite comforted by the fact that we had donna (top right) on our raft as she was a health-and-safety officer assessing the company for the day.
