Hersonissos by night

after a few complimentary cocktails at the hotel bar we decided it was time to hit the town of Hersonissos, one of the clubbing capitals of Crete.

v. full on experience - PR people are employed (on a commission basis) to lure you in to their bars with free drinks, and with no concept of Responsible Service of Alcohol at all evident across the European continent, they will drag you in stumbling and spewing for more drinks if it means they earn another euro.

i so totally LOVE the free little flags and sparkly things and trinkets they decorate the glasses with (i have an embarrassingly large collection now)

tequila shots... the barman joined us and licked salt all up alicia's arm (she loved it)

yum!

oooh these make my stomach turn... alicia scored two of these cause they had nauseating malibu in

a bit blurry, but hey, this is how we felt - note how many we were getting for free at this stage

and why not, i felt like a paddle, so tempting when the bars are right on the water front.

something was funny... i forget what
