Bus tour day trip

anticipation and excitement on the bus (we became the backseat loud mouthed arrogant australians. well, for the first 5 minutes, then we all dozed off)

the approach to Warwick Castle, destination number #1. surrounded by a natural moat. built by William the Conquerer... etc etc

The Great Dining Hall

The 7th and 8th wives of Henry the VIII...

captured and punished for their sins

an energetic view from the (second highest) lookout

The dungeon (oops, you might have to cock your head for this one)

and onto Stratford-Upon-Avon, destination number #2. Shakespear's house from the rear

and from the front. This is the house he grew up in and lived in with his wife and three children til he decided to abandon them and go seek his fortunes in London.

Beautiful town, with everything cashing in on the tourism

Final destination, Christchurch College, Oxford. The home of the Great Dining Hall of Harry Potter... which we didn't get to see... because of some choir rehearsal or something. pfft.

The inside of the cathedral of a different college in Oxford, where we were taken to instead. didn't really act a suficient substitute, but it was still nice.
